Grant & Stone

In 1987, Bob & Sue Grant and Richard & Sue Stone (already the owners of a successful plumbers merchants in High Wycombe) heard of the possible sale of a run down builders merchants in the heart of the town. One week after this, they were the new owners renaming the business Grant-Milner Ltd. One year later, the plumbers merchant was incorporated in to the builders merchant and the firm was renamed Grant & Stone Ltd. The friendly attitude and great service provided by the firm soon helped it establish itself as the leading builders merchant in High Wycombe.
